Storage
To ensure that our apples taste just as fresh after harvest, we rely on state-of-the-art storage technology. In special cold rooms, our premium apples are stored under a controlled atmosphere with precisely regulated oxygen levels. This so-called ULO storage (Ultra Low Oxygen) significantly slows down the natural ripening process — for some varieties, the oxygen content is even kept below 1%.
This highly precise technology helps preserve the apple’s cell structure, protect its vitamins, and maintain its full flavor. In this way, we guarantee our customers crisp, flavorful, and nutrient-rich apples all year round.
